V. Anuradha Singh, Internationally Acclaimed Classical Kathak Dance Performer (Raigarh Gharana)
V. Anuradha Singh is internationally renowned Classical Kathak dance performer of Bhopal, M.P. She has performed Kathak in more than 1000 reputed festivals in India and abroad. V. Anuradha Singh is empanelled kathak solo artist of “Outstanding category” in International Cultural Relations (ICR), Festival of India abroad cell ( FOI), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
She is famous for her unique high energetic devotional Kathak dance with magnetic expression, spins in 140 / minute Speed, excellent Ghunghroo foot work and energetic kathak compositions.
She made her debut at young age of 17 year in distinguished stage during ‘Festival of India’ in USSR 1988 organized by Govt. of India in Moscow, Russia. In addition to her appearance in most of the major festivals worldwide, she has earned a niche in the heart of millions of dance lovers.
V Anuradha Singh was the only performer of Kathak who has been selected by Govt. Of India for her solo kathak dance performances with accompanists in Festival of India in Mexico. She has performed two hours solo kathak concerts in “ Festival of India” Mexico (various cities of Mexico in 30 Nov – 13 December 2019 ) organised by International Cultural Relations, Festival of India cell, Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Mexico.
She is trained academically and professionally in classical kathak dance. She has got kathak scholarship and fellowship and received extensive training under Guru Shishya Parampara at Chakradhar Nritya Kendra by renowned Kathak Guru of Raigarh Gharana late Pt. Kartikramji and Pt. Ramlalji. She has done her Master degree in Kathak with Gold medal from Indira Kala Sangeet University Khairagarh C.G.
Anuradha has evolved “ Ghunghroo Vadan” pure classical music concert of more than one hour, based on various rhythmic patterns through foot percussive art. She performed Ghunghroo vadan concerts in pure music festivals where dance is not allowed.
She has performed at almost all prestigious national and international festivals including Indian embassies in UAE, Thailand and Soorya and SIFAS Festival, Singapore and International dance festivals. She is famous for her highly energetic, unique, electrifying style of kathak.
V Anuradha Singh established Vrinda kathak kendra in 1991 to promote and propagate kathak dance.
V.Anuradha Singh is spectacular signature in the field of performing classical kathak dance and highly appreciated who has dedicated herself to perfecting Raigarh Gharana dance form. She has performed more than 1000 solo highly reputed stage performances spread across the India and Abroad.

श्रीमती वी. अनुराधा सिंह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कथक नृत्यांगना हैं, आप भारत महोत्सव सोवियत संघ-1988 से लेकर, सिंगापुर, यूएई, थाइलैंड आदि देशों में भारतीय सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र एवं भारतीय दूतावासों आदि में कथक के प्रदर्शन करती आ रही हैं। हाल ही में भारत सरकार द्वारा आयोजित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महोत्सव-"भारत महोत्सव मेक्सिको-2019" के साथ ही विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठित महोत्सवों में अति सफल कथक के 1000 से अधिक प्रदर्शन किये हैै। आपने विदेशों में शास्त्रीय कथक नृत्य के ऊर्जावान प्रदर्शनों द्वारा भारत देश की संस्कृति का मान-सम्मान बढ़ाया है तथा लगभग 5500 प्रशिक्षणर्थियों को कथक विद्या में प्रशिक्षित किया जिससे कथक का प्रचार-प्रसार हो रहा है। आप अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध, संस्कृति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की ‘‘उत्कृष्ट श्रेणी’’ में चयनित एकल कथक नृत्यांगना हैं।
देश की सुविख्यात कत्थक नृत्यांगना सुश्री अनुराधा सिंह ने अपनी नृत्य साधना से अल्पकाल में देश-विदेश में ख्याति अर्जित की है । अपने मौलिक प्रयोगों की वजह से आपको एक अलग मुकाम हासिल हुआ है ।
आपने भारत के लगभग सभी प्रदेशों के अतिप्रतिष्ठित मंचों पर एकल कथक नृत्य के 1000 से अधिक अति सफल मंच प्रदर्शन किये है । आपने कथक नृत्य में कई सफल प्रयोग किये तथा हिन्दुस्तानी शास्त्रीय नृत्य को उसकी शास्त्रीयता कायम रखते हुए नए आयाम दिए ।
आपने इसमें सबसे कठिन गणितीय लयकारी को पैरों के घुंघरूओं द्वारा हस्त व भाव संचालन में पिरो कर प्रदर्शन किया । आपने सन् 1988 में अपना पहला नृत्य प्रदर्शन भारत महोत्सव, रूस में किया । आपको कई सम्मान प्राप्त होे चुके है जिनमें से कुछ प्रमुख इस प्रकार है:-
वाकणकर सम्मान, कला मनीषी सम्मान, राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय सम्मान, अन्र्तराष्ट्रीय महिला उत्कृष्ट सम्मान, तूलिका सम्मान, राय प्रवीण सम्मान, इन्दिरा प्रियदर्शिनी सम्मान आदि है । आपने रायगढ़ घराने की कथक शैली को काफी प्रचारित किया है ।
आपको देश के विभिन्न सरकारी, गैर सरकारी संगठनों और ट्रस्टों द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश में सर्वाधिक प्रशंसित एकल कथक मंच कलाकार हैं भारतीय संस्कृति में घुंघरू के शास्त्रीय महत्व को सुदृढ़ करने में आपका सृजनात्मक योगदान घुंघरू वादन के रूप में परिलक्षित होता है।
